I am a Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School.
My expertise is in empirical methods applied to behavioural economics, industrial economics, and organizational behavior.
I am currently a Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School, the Co-Director of the FEELE lab at
the University of Exeter Business School, and I am an Associate Researcher
at NIPE, University of Minho. Prior to being at Exeter, I was a post-doctoral researcher at Columbia University.
I was a Co-Editor of the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy from 2019 to 2026.
My research sits at the intersection of behavioral economics, institutions, cooperation, and organizational behavior,
with work published in leading journals including Economic Journal, Games and Economic Behavior,
Leadership Quarterly, Psychological Science, and Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B.
I have led or contributed to research projects funded by the ESRC, HMRC, NSF, and ISF.
I am the co-founder of (and current contributor to) the Exeter Prize for the best paper in experimental economics,
decision theory and behavioural economics.
